Does the Great Room have free parking?
There is plenty of free parking.
Can I bring in my own caterer?
Putting on the Ritz is the exclusive on site catering company.
Can I bring in my own photographer or DJ?
Yes. We have a great recommended list of vendors that we have worked with in the past. You are welcome to bring in your own at no extra cost.
Can we serve red wine at the Great Room?
Yes.
Do I have to buy my alcohol from Putting on the Ritz?
No. You can bring in your own alcohol , however Putting on the Ritz would supply the bartenders and mixers.
How many guests does the room hold?
275 buffet/ 300 served.
How long can my party last?
The Great Room rentals are for four hours, you may buy an extra hour for $150.
Are there extra charges beside the $150 extra for one hour?
In addition to the hourly charge, you will have extra costs to cover the catering staff and bar (if needed).
Are there certain times I can rent the Great Room?
On Saturdays we have 2 shifts 1pm to 5 pm (though you can start earlier if you would like a brunch) evening functions start at 7pm or later. Sundays wedding can start whenever you would like. The room can be rented in the middle of the day for an additional cost.
Do I have a certain ending time?
All parties must finish by 1 am at the latest.
Does it have a large dance floor?
The dance floor is 20 feet by 40 feet ( one of the largest in the area).
Is there a place to hold ceremonies?
We have a tented deck that can hold 180 guests.
Are there extra costs for having a ceremony on site?
Unlike most venues we do not charge a ceremony fee and we give you 30 minutes at no extra charge for your ceremony. You do, however, have to rent chairs for the outside ceremony which costs $3.50 per chair.
Is the Great Room easy to find?
It is just two turns off Route 1 off of Route 32.
Are there nearby hotels for my guests to stay at?
There are several hotels nearby in different price ranges. Please email us for more information.
Can we have a DJ or band at the Great Room?
Yes.
Can my guests smoke or enjoy a cigar?
We allow smoking only on the covered deck. There is no smoking allowed in the main room.
Do you only do weddings?
We specialize in all types of events including bar or bat mitzvahs, corporate events, trade shows and memorial services. We have done every type of event you can think of over the past 20 years.
What is the deposit amount to reserve the room?
We require a 50% deposit to reserve the room.
Does the room include tables and chairs?
Yes. We provide round and long tables with chavari chairs.
